The bride's "something blue" was sewn into the lining of her lace dress - a monogram featuring her new initials.
The couple was married in a traditional Catholic ceremony at the historic Old St. Joseph's Church in Old City, Philadelphia.
The buttercream cake was topped with pale pink Sahara roses, the same variety used in the bouquets and centerpieces.
The surprise groom's cake from Swiss Haus Bakery featured the inside joke of the evening - the bride and groom's opposing political affiliations!
The bridesmaids wore chocolate brown floor-length satin dresses. DJ Steve Croce kept the dance floor packed all night long!
